China's largest law firm opens office in Taiwan

The 3,000-lawyer Yingke Law Firm has just opened a base in the capital of Taiwan through a 10-partner team and a focus on non-litigation matters.

The new Taipei office aims to triple partner numbers within the next few years. Richard Fan, executive director of the new base, said: 'Setting up a Taipei office is an important step to facilitate Yingke’s internationalisation.' The firm has 25 offices in its homeland and another 23 abroad.
