The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) fined FAW-Volkswagen Sales, the marketer of Audis in China, a total of US$40.6m for price fixing. And Chrysler was fined US$5m. But Xu Kunlin, a senior NDRC official, said: ‘If people say we are selective [towards foreign companies], the truth is that we do not have the time and energy to select.
