Clifford Chance retains 82 per cent of autumn qualifiers

Clifford Chance has confirmed that 41 of its 49 autumn qualifying trainees were offered NQ contracts with the firm, with only one declining. Overall, this works out to an 82 per cent retention rate, slightly up on the 80 per cent it logged in the spring. With fellow Magic Circle outfits Allen & Overy, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Linklaters having already announced retention rates of 86 per cent, 95 per cent and 91 percent respectively, Slaughter & May is now the only firm in the group still to reveal its autumn result.
