CMS Cameron McKenna dismisses Singapore managing partner

The international law firm has also reported Andrew Stott to the SRA.

CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang has dismissed its Singapore managing partner Andrew Stott and reported him to the Solicitors Regulation Authority. The decision to dismiss Mr Stott was unanimously approved by the firm’s 20-partner board.The firm acted following information from other senior partners but refused to comment on the reason for the dismissal. A spokesperson for CMS said: ‘We confirm that a partner has been dismissed from the firm and the circumstances have been reported to the SRA. CMS does not normally comment publicly on confidential partner matters. We are mindful of the SRA process and serious sensitivities and will not be commenting further at this time.’ CMS has appointed Toby Grainger to replace him in Singapore.
