Alison Saunders, the director of public prosecutions for England and Wales, will outline the new plan in Madrid today. Six lawyers specialising in asset-recovery will be sent abroad to countries where it is common for criminals to stash their funds, such as Spain and the United Arab Emirates. Once there, they will work with local police and authorities to recover the exported assets.  The aim is to recover an initial £10 million from overseas bank accounts. Source: BBC News
