Total global revenue has reportedly lifted 66 per cent over the course of 2015 from $1.27bn last year to a staggering $2.12bn. The result marks an almost three-fold increase on SNR Dentons' final pre-merger revenue result, which was recorded at $710.5m in 2012. The megafirm has since concluded mergers with Chinese outfit Dacheng and US firm McKenna Long & Aldridge, as well as with Gadens in Australia, Rodyk & Davidson in Singapore, Mexico's Lopez Velarde Heftye y Soria and, most recently, a tie-up with Luxembourg's OPF Partners which took effect on January 1. The firm also scooped up 15 new European partners over the course of the year through an opening in Milan and an expansion of its Budapest office.
Dentons has not yet commented on its 2015 results, as it is understood that the global revenue figures were announced at the firm's annual partnership conference. The firm is now a member of an elite group of UK and US firms which boast revenues above the $2bn mark. At the top of the pile is Latham & Watkins, which reported revenue in excess of $2.6bn in 2014.
