Miss Ribbeck, head of the firm’s aviation practice, was the first to file a suit after the plane disappeared in March this year. The petition she filed was based on the assumption of an equipment failure - but, since the plane has never been discovered, the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission has described the petition as frivolous.
