According to data released this week by The Lawyer Market Intelligence, Eversheds was appointed to eight separate panels between April and June this year. This marks the second consecutive quarter that Eversheds has landed more panel spots than any other firm after securing seven appointments during Q1. Jointly holding second place for Q2 were Addleshaw Goddard and Freshfields, which both secured four new appointments over the course of the quarter. Meanwhile, Mayer Brown secured the unfortunate accolade of being the firm that lost the most appointments during Q2. The firm was jostled off panels at both Nomura and the P&O pension scheme – the latter of which ended its relationship with Mayer Brown in favour of a sole legal adviser arrangement with table-topper Eversheds.
