A group of more than 40 investors have taken High Court action against Punch Robson Solicitors claiming they lost money and accusing the firm office of negligence. The case relates to the purchase of student flats in Leeds. The group of 40 claimants is being represented by Chris Waters of London law firm Meaby & Co.
Representation
Judges have not yet begun overseeing High Court hearings. The development was completed about 12 years ago and went into receivership in 2011 with properties selling for some £72,000 between 2015 and 2016. They each paid around £270,000. Punch Robson is understood to be contesting the claim.
