Mr Wallace lived in the building in the town of Lubbock and had registered it as his work address. Having graduated in law from the Texas Tech University, he was registered with the State Bar of Texas and had spent some time serving as a judge in the Tarrant County Court.

He was found dead in the building which also houses the Shackelford, Hawkins & Searcy law firm. A 27-year old, Jestin Wayne Hooker, who also lived there and who appears to have been a former client of Mr Wallace’s practice, was arrested for the murder. Unidentified sources have said that Mr Wallace had been beaten to death with a golf club. The medical examiner in Lubbock said that Mr Wallace had suffered ‘blunt force traumatic injuries’ and declared the death a homicide. Source: ABA
