Freshfields gives cyber security help on pro bono basis

Freshfields and Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson are giving free advice to start-up entrepreneurs taking a 12-week programme with a new pro bono advice organisation called Cyber London.

Law firms are supporting a new cyber security initiative Moon Light PhotoStudio

Cyber London believes it is Europe's first business accelerator programme in the area of cyber security. Backers are hoping to deepen their links with the IT start-up sector and to work more closely with those government departments which are also concerned with the issue.

Widespread concern

Jane Jenkins, co-head of the Freshfields cyber security team, said: 'The current and developing legal risk associated with cyber security is a widespread concern for businesses in various sectors across the globe.' Source: Financial Times
