KWM scored 100 points on this year’s index, narrowly overtaking last year’s top spot holder Baker & McKenzie, which scored 99 points. The annual index is compiled using a survey of 375 chief legal buyers in the Asia-Pacific Region and 255 buyers from outside the region who have legal needs in the Asia-Pacific. Edging up 18 points from last year’s performance, KWM was ranked number one by respondents for ‘top-level litigation’ and ‘top-level M&A’, as well as number two for multijurisdictional deals and litigation. The firm also scored top marks for ‘favourability’ and ‘awareness’.
