The couple had, allegedly, developed a complicated cover story after the husband cremated his client's body, declaring it was that of his wife who had died. But the plot started to be uncovered when the couple sought to revoke the death certificate this year. When the pair fled, their accomplices were arrested and gave details of this alleged murder and that of two other clients. Another woman had owned 96 acres and was murdered seven years ago.
