Publishing giant Reed Elsevier's LexisNexis India has bought legal publishers Universal Law Publishing. Mohan Ramaswamy, managing director India, LexisNexis Legal & Professional, told the Business Standard that the acquisition of the 50 year old company would make Universal's content available online through LexisNexis' India-customised legal research solutions.
