Microsoft associate General Counsel Annmarie Levin has stepped beyond the usual legal parameters to run a programme of discussions with government, business, academia and other players on technology issues.

The initiative, part of the Microsoft Innovation and Policy Centre in Cambridge, Massachusetts, follows on from similar programmes in Silicon Valley and Washington DC. One of the first events will be a discussion on teaching computer science in school, according to the Boston Business Journal.
