The EU's Single Resolution Board (SRB) was launched at the beginning of the year to serve as the resolution authority within the EU's Banking Union and is intended to prevent banking failures becoming a full-blown financial crisis.

Contracts worth €15m

The SRB tendered for legal advisers earlier this year, for contracts worth an estimated maximum total value of €15m. The contracts last for two years, with options to renew for up to two 12 month periods.
