Operating under the name Klavins Ellex, the new firm will have 278 lawyers across offices in Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania, making it a heavyweight in the Baltic legal market and the largest law firm in Latvia, with 47 lawyers and 13 support staff to be based in the country. The firm will offer wide-ranging advice, with M&A, banking and finance, dispute resolution, competition, real estate, labour, tax and IP all counting among the firm’s areas of expertise.
