Non-traditional law firms are beginning to pose a threat to both top-tier and middle-tier law firms as nearly one in three law firms expect to encounter competition from non-traditional law firms over the next year. The survey found that those at the top encountered far greater competition from non-traditional firms - with 71 per cent top-tier firms saying they were being impacted. However, they are best prepared to deal with this attack on their client base, CBA’s national manager of professional services Marc Totaro told Australiasian Lawyer. The results were published in Commonwealth Bank of Australia’s (CBA) Legal Market Pulse report in association with Beaton Research + Consulting. Source: Australasian Lawyer
