The top two appear to be pulling away from other Canadian law firms. Other top firms in the survey are, in order, McCarthy Tetrault, Stikeman Elliott and Fasken Martineau DuMoulin. Elizabeth Duffy of Acritas said that being a large Toronto firm is not enough anymore: 'Clients really want to work with a firm that they feel reflects their culture, their diversity, their aspirations, and their personality and their business ethos as well. So it’s a lot more complex and complicated now.'
