The firm’s new international trade treaty practice is slated to launch later this month, with around 20 lawyers and 10 partners across the firm’s global network. The new practice group is the brainchild of NRF global head of competition Martin Coleman, though he will step out of the practice group following its launch. City-based competition partner Mark Simpson has been tapped as the initiatives London chief. He told Legal Week: ‘Once the UK’s trade policy becomes clear, and the direction of the UK-EU trading relationship becomes clear, there will be a lot of work. We expect to see most of that in helping clients engage with government to input into trade negotiations, but we also see this practice evolving.’
