Olswang confirmed today that Ms Parekh has exited the firm, with her next destination unconfirmed. Ms Parekh joined Olswang into 2009 after a decade as a partner and later head of telecoms at rival firm DLA Piper. She was named as Olswang’s head of international telecommunications in 2014 and is recognised in the Legal 500 for her work on innovative projects including network sharing, mobile payments and EU single market telecoms regulation. Her exit comes hot on the heels of several other high-profile departures from Olswang, including former corporate, private equity and venture capital partner Stephen Rosen, who defected to Cooley’s new London office earlier this year. A statement from Olswang confirmed that partner Rob Bratby, who has recently returned to London after several years steering the firm’s operations in Singapore, has taken on a global telecommunications and emerging markets role for the firm.
