Those making the move include David Peterman, former head of Norton Rose Fulbright’s US M&A and securities practice, Efren Acosta, former head of its Houston corporate and M&A practice and Robert Phillpott, former head of Norton Rose Fulbright’s US tax practice. Other partners include Edward Rhyne, Ned Crady, Daniel Mark, Natasha Khan, Ron Scharnberg and Dan Tristan.

In the pipeline

Baker Botts has been quick to point out that the new hires have nothing to do with the merger but have been in the pipeline since summer 2016. It is understood that the group represents private equity firms, oil companies, general corporate clients, as well as some technology companies. Source: Big Law Business
