The research was carried out amongst a range of companies including law firms by global management company Mannaz. According to the survey the most important but challenging prerequisites to ensure projects deliver strategic objectives are the definition of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as well as securing the alignment around the purpose and objectives with stakeholders. The research also identified clear roles and responsibilities as key to success as was meeting the lack of predictability with flexibility and agility. Keeping costs down was also top of the list.  The importance of  project management for law firms will form the basis of a discussion at 'The Future of Law Summit in London on 30 September 2014.
