PwC makes progress on 20-partner Australia goal

Accountancy giant PwC has made its second appointment in a month of a lateral hire partner, pushing the firm along to its goal of having 20 to 25 partners by about 2017-19.

The firm has just recruited Sydney-based, industrial relations lawyer Tim Frost from Allens - and he is to become a PwC partner. It has also recently recruited Natalie Kurdian who was a senior associate in King & Wood Mallesons.

Double numbers

If it fulfills its plans, the PwC practice  will double its partner numbers within the 2017-19 timescale and also have a practice worth A$100m or more a year. Source: Lawyers Weekly
