Reed Elsevier legal business shows small growth

Reed Elsevier, owner of LexisNexis legal, predicts growth in its legal markets long-term but says that its legal business grew just one per cent last year.

This growth rate reflects 'subdued' demand from lawyers in Europe and the US, said the company. Chief executive Erik Engstrom said: 'We believe in the long run the legal markets are growth markets... However, in 2014, or right now in the early part of 2014, we see no sign of that pick-up happening now.' Source: Reuters
