The group is looking at issues in which a driverless car crashed or in which a surgical robot killed a patient. Guidelines from RoboLaw, presented to the European Parliament, include a set of principles. The authors say: ‘When human beings act without using technologies, it is sometimes hard enough to determine who is responsible for what.
