City firm RPC has officially kicked of an election process to find a new managing partner, with the final vote slated to take place in late January. Until then, head of commercial Tim Anderson and insurance head James Miller will be acting as co-managing partners of the firm.
The election comes as longserving leader Jonathan Watmough steps down from the managing partner role, which he has held since 2008. The incumbent leader commented: ‘It is time to both try something new and to give someone else their chance. I have achieved everything I wanted to achieve and I am delighted to leave the firm in excellent health.’ Insurance specialist RPC posted revenue growth of 12 per cent in 2014/15 and 6 per cent in 2015/16.
