Rudy Giuliani leaves law firm for Trump

The high-profile former New York mayor is said to be eyeing up the role of attorney general should Mr Trump succeed in his presidential bid.

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani is taking a leave of absence from his role at Greenberg Traurig to ramp up his campaign for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. According to the frim, the high-profile lawyer, who is global chairman of the firm's cybersecurity and crisis management group, is leaving by mutual agreement. However, a spokesperson at the fim said they looked forward to welcoming him back in November after the campaign. There are rumours that Mr Giuliani is eyeing up the job of attorney general should Mr Trump win.
