Singapore companies are putting pressure on their lawyers to offer better pricing arrangements as the market becomes more competitive. The latest research from Chambers and partners says that whilst clients still identify good quality representation as their top priority, they are becoming more price sensitive. They are demanding alternatives to the traditional bill-by-hour system from a cap to fixed fees or retainer arrangements.The increase in the number of law firms in Singapore is adding to the mix.
