The appointment marks the first time Specsavers has opted for a preferred legal adviser over an informal panel relationship, with Eversheds its preferred supplier for UK litigation, employment law, and commercial and corporate issues.
Specsavers global legal director Stretch Kontelj (pictured) carried out the panel review and stated that he was ‘particularly impressed’ by Eversheds’ ‘focus on our strategic priorities and how they would support these.’
Corporate partner James Trevis is client partner for Specsavers and led Eversheds’ team during the pitch. The team also consisted of consumer head James Batham and partners Paula Barrett, Gary Pellow and Charlotte Walker-Osborn.
