Developing tomorrow's leaders is a key issue for law firms with members of the baby-boom generation accounting for the most senior-level positions in many law firms, according to research from Future Law Offices. The survey, by Robert Half Legal, reported that these baby-boomers generated an estimated 50 per cent of fee origination and held more than 30 per cent of partnership positions in law firms, making succession planning a key management strategy to ensure the future viability of these firms.
