Senior executives from Baker McKenzie, Chiomenti, Eversheds Sutherland, Hogan Lovells and Nixon Peabody are among the speakers at the Law Firm Marketing Summit, which takes place in October.

The virtual forum on 5 October will bring together managing partners, senior business development and marketing professionals, general counsel and world-class advisers to debate how law firms can best position themselves to thrive in the post-pandemic era.

Chaired by TerraLex chief executive Terri Pepper Gavulic and Lexington Consultants co-founder Moray McLaren, the international summit, which is now in its sixth year, is built around how Covid-19 has permanently changed the legal profession and the consequences of this for top business development and marketing professionals.

Richard Levick, chairman and CEO of Levick, will deliver a keynote on brand authenticity, asking how firms can find their voices in a diverse world in which they face internal demands to speak out on geopolitical issues, including the Black Lives Matter movement, climate change and the rule of law.

A leaders roundtable will feature David Kaufman, director of global strategies at Nixon Peabody, Baker McKenzie’s global chief marketing officer, Wendy Bernero, and Rolf Chr Trolle Andersen, a partner at Norwegian firm Hjort.

Jaime Carey, co-secretary general of the International Bar Association, will feature in a Q&A, and there will be a client’s panel, when general counsel will discuss how their needs have changed during the pandemic and what law firms must do to meet them

There will also be sessions on online and content marketing, and a business development masterclass.
