Helsinki International Arbitration Day is organised now for the sixth time. More than 250 lawyers specialised or interested in arbitration and dispute resolution from about 20 countries attended the event last year. The day's theme ‘Taking a Close Look at Today's Arbitral Process and Who Pays for It’ addresses highly relevant issues relating to arbitration process, the role of arbitral institutions and distribution of the cost of the arbitration. The keynote speech will be held by Alexis Mourre, Chair of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, France. The event is organized by the Arbitration Institute of the Finland Chamber of Commerce ( www.arbitration.fi) with the support of the ICC International Court of Arbitration and ICC Finland.
