TyMetrix has information on about US$45 million of legal invoices. Managing director of its legal arm Craig Raeburn told the ABA Journal that these directors are 'charged with helping to look at their pricing and determine if they're being as competitive as possible'. Bryan Cave, for instance, uses TyMetrix data to compare its pricing to that of other firms. It also uses a system which examines how the time of lawyers is used and another which highlights terms in bills which 'create red flags for clients'.
