Two more lawyers have been recruited for the firm's Singapore office to lead the project finance group. Partner Steve Payne is relocating from Beijing and David Gartside is joining from Allen & Overy. Art Scavone, White & Case's head of global project finance, told Finance Asia: 'There has been an upturn in cross-border project financing activity in South East Asia in recent years.'  White & Case already has an association with Indonesian law firm, MD & Partners.
