Thomson Reuters wins Internal Revenue Service contract

Thomson Reuters is to provide online legal and tax research to the US's Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in a deal which could see up to 20,000 officials use the company's services.

Services

The IRS will have access to the company’s WestlawNext and WestlawNext Tax services as well as its Checkpoint content. The research will help the IRS in a range of functions including researching tax laws for policy and enforcement purposes. Source: MarketWatch
