Gabriel Potkidis maintains a broad corporate and securities law practice, advising both emerging companies and established businesses at various stages of growth. His work spans mergers and acquisitions, corporate financings, and general corporate and securities matters. Prior to joining SkyLaw, Gabriel worked in-house at a venture capital firm, where he advised on structuring special purpose vehicles for early-stage investments and supported portfolio companies on corporate and operational matters. He also articled at a prominent Bay Street law firm, gaining experience across a wide range of transactional mandates. Gabriel was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2025 and holds a dual JD/HBA degree from Western University’s Faculty of Law and the Ivey Business School, where he graduated on the Dean’s Honour List and received the Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt Excellence in Business Law Award.
