Ignacio has a PhD in Law and a degree in Law from the University of Valladolid (1995). He was admitted in the Madrid Bar in 1997 as an Attorney at Law and has also been a Spanish Patent and Trademark Agent since 2003. Ignacio has been Adjunct Professor of Mercantile Law at the University Carlos III of Madrid (2001–2005), and is now Professor of Civil Law at the University of Comillas (ICADE). Ignacio has extensive experience in Intellectual Property Law, especially in prosecution and litigation matters in Patent and Trademark Law, and also in Copyright (contractual and litigation) where he has valuable knowledge and practice.
