Siri Teigum is a partner at Advokatfirmaet Thommessen and is a member of the firm’s EU/EEA and Competition Law practice. She holds a Candidate in Jurisprudence degree from the University of Oslo (1987) and a Diploma in Advanced European Studies from the College of Europe (1985). Siri has over three decades of experience advising on EU/EEA and competition law, including state aid, public procurement and administrative sanctions. She has been responsible for the clearance of numerous complex mergers and has handled competition cases before the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) Court, the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) and Norwegian courts. She also acts as an arbitrator and has served as an ad hoc judge for the EFTA Court. Siri is president of the Norwegian Bar Association and chairs the board of the Government Pension Fund Norway. She is ranked in The Legal 500 Hall of Fame and Band 1 by Chambers & Partners Europe for Competition/Antitrust and is recognised by Who’s Who Legal as a Thought Leader.
