Wenche Sædal is a partner at Advokatfirmaet Thommessen. She holds a Master of Laws from the University of Bergen (2008). Before joining Thommessen in 2012, Wenche worked at the Norwegian Competition Authority as a senior consultant and associate lawyer for three years. She has considerable experience in public procurement, EU/EEA law, competition law, state aid and sustainability. Wenche advises both contracting authorities and suppliers on all aspects of public procurement and has particular experience with procurements in the public transport, construction and utilities sectors. She has handled numerous cases before the Complaints Board for Public Procurement (KOFA) and the courts and was appointed as a member of KOFA in 2023. She is ranked as a Leading Partner for Public Procurement by The Legal 500 and Band 3 by Chambers & Partners Europe for Public Procurement.
