Banking, with seven promotions (nearly a third of the total) accounts for the the largest proportion by sector. It is followed by corporate (six). Litigation accounts for four promotions. Over 30 per cent of the promotions are taking place in France, Germany and Spain. The emphasis on the UK is lower than in previous years - with 32 per cent coming from that jurisdiction.
US lawyers
The promotions take place from 1 May. Wim Dejonghe, managing partner of the Magic Circle practice, said: 'This year’s promotions underline our strategy of continued investment in our core developed markets particularly in France, Germany and Spain....
