Mr Döring will join Allen & Overy’s growing IP group in the City alongside fellow Simmons alumnus Marjan Noor. Ms Noor was also a partner in Simmons’ IP practice before accepting a position at A&O in June. The addition of Mr Döring is the firm’s fifth major lateral hire in just three months, with the headcount of its London-based international IP group now up to 15. Mr Döring specialises in work relating to intellectual property disputes and primary patent litigation in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, hi-tech and chemical industries.
