Anheuser-Busch InBev has appointed John Blood as general counsel and company secretary. He replaces general counsel Sabine Chalmers who has left the company following the takeover of drinks company SABMiller last year. Mr Blood, who joined the company from Diageo eight years ago,  was previously vice-president for corporate affairs and legal at the company for the US and Canada. Ms Chalmers will join beauty company Coty as a non-executive director. She was previously at Guinness and Diageo and trained at legacy law firm Lovell White Durrant.

Virgin Enterprises has appointed a new head of legal and intellectual property. It has promoted Bill Budd, a senior IP lawyer at the company, following the departure of former head of legal and IP Charlie Everitt to Reckitt Benckiser as head of trademarks.

Business and tech live streaming network Cheddar has hired Anjali Kumar as chief people officer and general counsel. Ms Kumar joins the company from Warby Parker where she was general counsel.  Previously she worked as a senior counsel at Google.

It has been reported that Uber chief legal officer Salle Yoo is planning to leave the company in the near future but will remain in her position until a replacement is found. She has been with Uber since 2012. Before joining Uber, Ms Yoo was a partner at Davis Wright Tremaine.

Real estate investment firm Monday Properties has hired Evan Dreilinger as senior vice president and general counsel. Mr Dreilinger joins from Gramercy Property Trust  where he was senior vice president and associate general counsel. Prior to that he worked at law firm Ellenoff Grossman & Schole.
