Biggest challenge for law firms is finding new customers

Finding new customer is such a challenge for law firms that many have decided to expand their geographic network, according to a research report on Australia and New Zealand.

The majority of firms (54%) are planning to increase the number of markets they target over the next three years, according to research from the Australasian Legal Practice Management Association (ALPMA) and LexisNexis. And 44% intend to increase their geographic footprint within the same timescale. 

Extension of legal services

In order to attract new clients, some 39% are planning to go into new legal services. And 45% of firms are intending to use fixed fees as a basis of offering more of their legal services. Source: Lawyers Weekly
