Leading European law firm Bonelli Erede Pappalardo has revamped its image and changed its name as it targets the international marketplace. Renamed BonelliErede, it is positioning itself as a client-focused firm. A new website features images commissioned from internationally acclaimed photographers such as Luca Campigotto and Angela Lo Priore. Managing Partner Stefano Simontacchi said of the firm’s new branding and name change to BonelliErede: 'A united name better reflects the unity of our team, is easier to remember and makes an instant impression. Our choice of red as the colour for our new identity represents Italian passion and excellence. It represents a key stage in our process of renewal and our constant desire to improve, excel and go the extra mile.'
Major transactions
Formed in 1999, BonelliErede has advised on a number of major transactions, from Prada’s Hong Kong stock market listing to French supermarket giant Carrefour’s multi-billion-euro disposal of its property arm. It was involved in the privatisation of media giant Rai Way, which was one the largest privatisations in Europe last year, and the 1.3-billion-euro acquisition in March this year by Dufry of shares in Benetton-owned rival World Duty Free, creating the largest travel retailer in the world.
