PEXA was rolled out across the country in late 2014, supported by state governments and four of the leading banks, as a national online system for buying and selling property.

The survey was conducted by GlobalX Legal Solutions, a business which has partnership agreements with PEXA. Looking at the research results of the survey in general, GlobalX's CEO Peter Maloney said: 'We're finding the technologies that have the biggest impact are those that are disrupting the norm.' The biggest trends having an effect on lawyers, according to the survey, are - in order of priority - cloud-based technology, electronic conveyancing, mobile technology and data security.
