German Lawyers held an anti-surveillance demonstration outside Chancellor Angela Merkel's office in Berlin on Saturday in protest over plans to reintroduce a bill allowing for the mass storage of data. The rally, organised by Hamburg based 'Lawyers Against Total Surveillance', was organised to mark the second anniversary of whistleblower Edward Snowden's revelations about the US National Security Agency's activites as well as protesting against Germany's intelligence agency collecting data for the US.
