Dr Uwe Hartmann joins Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek’s Frankfurt office in January as an equity partner. He will be joined by Stephan Nikschick as a salaried partner and Catrin Merten as a senior associate. Dr Hartmann advises in all fields of national and international tax law whilst Mr Nikschick specialises in insolvency issues. Prior to joining FPS, Dr Hartmann had been an equity partner at Norton Rose from 2001 to 2012.
Notary competence
The arrival of Dr Hartmann gives Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek also competence in the notary field in Frankfurt , which to date has been exclusively served from the Berlin office (currently six notaries). 'We are very pleased about the additions in Frankfurt. The legal fields covered by our new peers are highly complementary to our portfolio. The focus on tax law and the notarial office, in particular, will further strengthen the Frankfurt office,' said Dr Andreas Urban, managing partner at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek.
