Three years ago there was a total of 33 lawyers at Houston-based Schwartz Junell Greenberg & Oathout. Their former colleagues have gone to join larger energy firms since then. Now, the last nine have decided to join the Houston office of Ohio-based Vorys Sater Seymour and Pease, which currently has 14 lawyers in Houston.
Part of a larger firm
Dick Schwartz, partner in Schwartz Junell, said: 'We think in today’s market, it makes sense to be a part of a larger firm. We can serve our clients better within a firm like a Vorys'.
