India launches competition inquiry into Ericsson
An Indian version of the Apple-Samsung patent wars appears to be breaking out through the intense competition between Ericsson and Micromax, culminating for the moment in the competition inquiry.
Ericsson sued the Indian handset maker in March in the Delhi high court, complaining of patent infringement. In return, Micromax complained to the Competition Commission of India. The commission has now ordered its director-general to make an in-depth investigation. Source: Financial Times
